Laura Lewis to Leave Chamber of Commerce

SAN ANGELO, TX — Laura Lewis, Vice President of Member Relations at the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, is leaving her position there, according to her new boss, State Sen. Charles Perry.

Perry’s office sent out an email notification Monday afternoon stating that Lewis is replacing Pam Dutton as the District Director for Sen. Perry’s office in San Angelo. Dutton said she is retiring and Lewis takes over effective Feb. 6.

Lewis, who has served as the Chamber’s Member Services VP since December 2016, was raised in San Angelo and graduated from Angelo State University. She began her work at the Chamber after moving back home following a 25-year career at Delta Airlines.

"I have enjoyed getting to know our constituents in Senate District 28 and meeting and working with community leaders. West Texans are the best, and I have been blessed to get to know so many of you through my time working for both Senator Duncan and Senator Perry," said Dutton.
