San Angelo Home Builders Association Expo is This Weekend

SAN ANGELO, TX - Exactly 28-years ago, San Angelo home builders held their first Home & Garden Expo on the San Angelo rodeo grounds.

This weekend, the Home & Garden Expo 2017 will showcase over 100 vendors in the Wells Fargo Pavilion and benefit Sonrisas Therapeutic Riding.  With the larger venue, Expo Chair Janis Baucom says the Home Builders Association of San Angelo will be bigger and better than ever.

“This is the 28th year for the Expo and my 18th year,” Baucom said.  “We have everything from A to Z, including bricks, windows and window coverings, contractors and remodelers, and just about everything you’d need to build or remodel a home.”

Sonrisas will receive all the proceeds from a silent auction that features over 200 items.

Special events this year include the auction, a build and grow center for children and the Master Gardener booth. All-Tex Irrigation will be demonstrating rainwater harvesting.

Cost to attend the Home & Garden Expo is $5 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free.  Baucom says anyone with a valid military ID will be admitted for free thanks to AEP and Angelo Seamless Rain Gutters.  Expo hours are Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday noon until 4 p.m..
