Here's the Latest on Closures and Late Starts Due to Bad Weather

The snow is falling, and with the weather once more affecting driving conditions, local businesses have started to make plans to keep people safe.

At this time, here are the following closures and late starts for local businesses (now in alphabetical order) for today. Also, here is a message from From Steve Mild, the emergency management coordinator of the City of San Angelo and Tom Green County:

"I spoke to the National Weather Service and they stated that we are through with the moisture for this area from this system. The highs for today will only be in the upper 30s. I drove the city and out into the county. There should be no issues with people being able to make it to work okay with the delayed openings. Most of the main streets and highways inside the city limits are in good shape including Houston Harte. The only caveat to that is the overpasses and bridges. They are still iced over. Out in the county, the main roads are still slick, but they are beginning to melt a bit. Once daylight arrives and with more vehicles traveling on them, they should clear up fairly well by mid morning. FM 2288 was passable from Grape Creek to San Angelo. The overpasses out in the County are still icy.

Respectfully,
Steve Mild, MPO, EMC"
