Ford Explorer Pulls Out in Front of Japanese Car and This is What Happens Next

Traffic was backed-up on the eastbound Houston Harte Expressway access road near the Southwest Blvd. intersection due to a two-vehicle crash that happened at 12:21 p.m. today.

The waiting line of cars approaching the intersection stretched approximately one-quarter mile in the direction of Sherwood Way.

Police said that a white Ford Explorer disregarded the stop sign while turning right (east) from Southwest onto the access road. The silver passenger car did not have time to react and avoid the Ford, and the crash ensued. As a result if the impact, the Ford spun left and came to a rest facing west in an eastbound lane of the roadway. Police said the Ford driver was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.

There were no injuries, but both vehicles will be towed to the wrecking yard.

Traffic will be delayed until the cars are cleared off the roadway, hopefully by 2:30 p.m.

The silver sedan was a Toyota Camry.
