Your Comprehensive List of Halloween Events

 

San Angelo parking lots, churches and galleries will fill with festivities targeted at trick-or-treaters on Halloween night, many of which are free and offer a variety of activities for children, teens and families.

VisitSanAngelo.org provides a fairly comprehensive list of happenings on Halloween, which includes haunted houses and trunk or treat options.

Southland Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

Southland Baptist Church will host trunk or treat for children in pre-school up to 5th grade from 5:30-7 p.m. at 4300 Meadow Creek Trail.

First Assembly of God Rock the Pumpkin

Rock the Pumpkin will feature giveaways, games, hot dogs, popcorn, rides, cotton candy and treats from 5:30-8 p.m. at 1442 Edmund Blvd.

The Chicken Farm Art Center

The Art Cener at 2505 MLK Dr. is offering eye candy on Halloween this year, with four out of town guest artists, including Audrey Legatowics, Jan Byron, Leslie Kregel and Reed Overstreet.

Snacks and treats (no tricks) will be offered at the event, which runs from 5:30-8 p.m. For more information, contact the Chicken Farm at 325-653-4936.

Immanuel Baptist Fall Festival

Games and goodies are promised at the Immanuel Baptist Fall Festival this year at 90 E. 14th St. The festival begins at 6 p.m.

Trinity Fellowship Church's Hallelujah Night Carnival

The Hallelujah Night Carnival will be held from 6-8 p.m. at 3838 Arden Road. The event will offer games, prizes, a cake walk, a bounce house, face painting, a costume contest with a girl’s and boy’s bike awarded to first prize, concessions and candy.

Bowie Fall Festival

Bowie Elementary will host a trunk or treat at its fall festival between 6-7 p.m. at the intersection of Forest Trail and Lindenwood.

Haunted House

A haunted house will be open at Crazy Horse Art Gallery, 3401 N. Chadbourne, through Nov. 11.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. or at dark, and prices vary depending on age. Tickets for adults 14 and older run $10, kids run $7 and children 5 and under are free. Kid-friendly walks are available.

Lake View Bible Church Trunk or Treat

Trunk or treat will be hosted at 4825 Grape Creek Road, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Lifepoint Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

Festivities will run from 6-8:30 p.m. at 810 Austin St.

Festivities will run from 6-8:30 p.m. at 1026 E. Harris.

Fire Truck or Treat

The San Angelo Fire Department and San Angelo Fire Fighters Association invite everyone to the 12th annual Fire Truck or Treat.

Come by your neighborhood fire station from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 to get some candy and see a fire truck up close!

Mike McClure at Blaine's Pub

Hip Hop Horahy at Shenanigan's

Shenanigan's Sports Bar will be hosting a hip hop party starting at 10 p.m. A costume contest with a $500 prize is also planned.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Sing-A-Long

Angelo Community Theatre will be hosting a sing-a-long for those 18 and up at 1936 Sherwood Way. Admission is $10 and includes a raffle, participation bag, popcorn and drinks. A prize will be given to the person with the best costume. 

The show starts at 9 p.m. and reservations may be made by dropping in or calling 325-949-4400.

After the show, tickets may be presented at Woofers and Tweeters for a free drink (21 and up only).

Kids Magic Show and Trunk or Treat

Kids 12 and under are invited to attend a magic show and trunk or treat at Angelo Civic Theatre, 1936 Sherwood Way. Tickets cost $5 and the magic starts at 6 p.m.

Kids will have the opportunity to win a magic bag.
