Crash on Sherwood Way Saturday Morning

A two-vehicle crash had Sherwood Way near the Arden Road intersection blocked at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to the San Angelo police investigating the scene, the driver of a black Honda CRV SUV was attempting to turn onto Sherwood Way from Horn Street and indicated to police that she didn’t see the oncoming white Chevrolet step side pickup truck. The pickup crashed into the CRV.

The driver of the CRV was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way. There were no injuries at the scene and no one was transported to the hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, however.

The crash scene was cleared by 10:45 a.m. and traffic was back to normal.
