Crash at MLK and 19th Street

 

At least one person has been injured in a car crash involving a green Dodge Ram 1500 and a black Hyundai Genesis at the cross of MLK and 19th Streets.

Southbound traffic on MLK is being redirected to MLK. San Angelo Police and San Angelo Fire Rescue Units are on scene. 

One person has been placed in a SAFD ambulance and is receiving medical treatment.
Update 5:41 p.m.
According to the investigating officer, the car was traveling southbound on MLK and the truck was westbound on 19th. The truck disregarded the red light and collided with the car at the intersection. 
The driver of the car was taken to Shannon for possible injuries. The driver of the truck was cited for disregarding a red light.
