Citation Issued in Three-Vehicle Crash on Houston Harte and Bryant

A three-car accident had traffic backed up for about an hour at Bryant and Houston Harte Friday, when a Chevy truck making a left turn westbound on 6th Street from Bryant failed to yield the right of way to a Toyota Tundra heading southbound, which collided with the Chevy.

A white car traveling behind the Tundra collided with the side of the truck, spinning the Tundra around. No major injuries were incurred as a result of the crash.

The two trucks are totaled, but the car sustained only minor front end damage. All passengers were wearing seatbelts and all are insured.

The driver of the Chevy turned on a green light without an arrow and was cited for failure to yield right of way.

SAPD and SAFD responded to the crash. Joshua Loudermilk was the investigating officer.
