Honda Car and Ford F-250 Collide in Early Morning Crash on US 67

 

Northeast of San Angelo on US 67 near Thompson Rd. two vehicles crashed in the northbound lanes. A black Honda Si ran into the back of a Ford F-250 4x4.

The northbound lanes are closed as of 8:45 a.m.

Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies and the Texas DPS are on the scene. 

There are no reports on how severe the injuries are. We will update this story as events unfold.

Update 9:08 a.m.

The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital. Injuries unknown.

Update 9:21 a.m.

The driver of the F-250 pulled onto US 67 from Douglas Loop in front of the Honda. "We're not sure how fast the Honda was traveling," DPS said. The Honda crashed into the back of the F-250 and, according to DPS, both cars traveled for another 1/2 mile before coming to a complete stop.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries, according to DPS.

DPS said that there are no citations issued, but they are still investigating.

US 67 is clear as of 9:21 a.m.
