San Angelo Police Detail Wednesday Evening's J.C. Penney Stock Room Struggle

On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, just after 7:30 p.m., San Angelo Police were dispatched to the J.C. Penney store located at the Sunset Mall for the report of an unknown, disoriented man inside the store’s stock room.

Responding Officer Sergeant W. Bodden made contact with the man who appeared to be intoxicated from an unknown substance.  When Sgt. Bodden conducted a safety pat-down of the man to check for weapons, the man became combative and engaged Sgt. Bodden in a lengthy struggle.

The man, later identified as 21-year-old Dylan Bristol, was restrained by Sgt. Bodden until backup officers arrived.  Bristol actively engaged the backup officers and continued to resist and struggle even as he was being carried outside.  Upon searching Bristol incident to his arrest, police located an electronic inhalation pipe.  It is unknown what substance Bristol ingested prior to the incident.  Police requested San Angelo Fire Department Medics to the scene to assess apparent minor injuries Bristol sustained during his resistance.  Bristol was treated at the scene and upon his release was transported to the Tom Green County Jail where he reportedly became combative towards jail staff.  He was charged with Resisting Search, Resisting Arrest and Criminal Trespass.

Subsequent to the investigation, police learned Bristol was originally located inside the store’s stock room after witnesses heard something fall to the ground.  When employees entered the stock room to investigate the source of the noise, they observed Bristol standing near an over-turned box of sunglasses that had been removed from a shelf.  Employees told police that when they confronted the disoriented Bristol, he became confrontational towards them.  Employees stated Bristol was previously seen inside the store in the company of another man.

The man was located inside the mall a short time later and identified as Cody Reazin (DOB 06-28-94).  Raezin appeared to be intoxicated by an unknown substance and had difficulty communicating and walking.  Upon searching Reazin incident to his arrest for Public Intoxication, police located an electronic inhalation pipe.  It is unknown what substance Raezin ingested prior to this incident. He was transported without incident to the Tom Green County Jail.

Hey SALive, Way to give this punk exactly what he wants, his smug face on a publication. You have become his tool, to be seen and glorified by more morons just like him. Please do not become like the "Sub-Standard Times" running whatever it takes to fill your publication. I would hope that there are better things for you to post pictures of other than petty criminals that are just looking for attention.
