Rosa Rodriquez, 76, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2013 in San Angelo.
The Prayer service will be 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 9, 2013 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Word of Life Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Rosa was born September 11, 1937 in Beeville, Texas to Amado and Viviana Pena Morin. She met and later married Pablo Rodriquez. Rosa was a loving wife mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She loved flowers, especially roses and she loved tending to her garden at home.
Rosa will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her love will live on in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pablo and one son, Eddie Rodriquez. Rosa is survived by her daughters, Diana Rodriquez, of San Angelo, Patsy Rodriquez, of San Angelo, Anita Charles and her husband Mario, of San Angelo, and her special granddaughters that she raised, Maria Lewis, of San Angelo and Criselda Tijerina and her husband Norberto, of San Angelo; 14 Grandchildren, Andy Rodriquez, Lucy Chavarria, Ignacio Carales, Veronica Cromwell, Monica Rodriquez, Jose Martinez, Joshua Martinez, Giselle Martinez, Vanessa Gruble, Mario Charles, Jr., Marco Charles, and Vivian Charles; 14 Great Grandchildren; her Sisters, Patsy Trevino and her husband Mitchell, of Melvin, TX, and Cecelia Rodriguez and her husband Manuel, of Mathis, TX; her Sister-in-law, Enriqueta Rodriguez, of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. The Pallbearers for the service will be her grandsons. The family would like to express their sincerest thanks and gratitude to Renee of Odyssey Hospice for all of the loving care given to Rosa.
