Boy's Ranch 12th Annual Clay Bird Shoot
West Texas Boys Ranch will host their 12th Annual Clay Bird Shoot on Saturday, April 22 at the San Angelo Claybird Association, 12026 US Highway 67 S, San Angelo, TX.
This event is a fundraiser and also an opportunity to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of West Texas Boys Ranch, which was founded in 1947. West Texas Boys Ranch is one of the oldest nonprofits in San Angelo.
The event begins at 7 a.m. with event check-in and breakfast. Rotation 1 begins at 8 a.m. and Rotation 2 at 12 p.m. There are 2 courses (red and green) and the top 3 shooters for each course will receive a trophy. One out of every 10 paid shooters wins a Beretta A300 Outlander 12 Gauge Shotgun or a $750 Outdoorsman Gift Card. The cost per shooter is $150 and $1,750 per Corporate Sponsor Team. The registration form is available on www.wtbr.org, under the calendar tab.
Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and is included for registered shooters. It is $10 per meal for non-participants.
A raffle drawing for a Springfield Armory 1911 45 caliber Range Officer handgun will take place at the event. Tickets are being sold now by WTBR staff and board members and are $10 each. A live auction is also part of the festivities.
West Texas Boys Ranch is primarily privately funded by individuals, corporations, organizations, businesses and foundations so fundraisers, such as this one, are extremely important. The planning stages for 12th Annual Clay Bird Shoot are well underway and as is tradition with any event, WTBR is seeking support in making this event a large success.
The success of WTBR events is directly related to sponsorship support. All funds raised at the Clay Bird Shoot will directly influence the lives of the boys.
