VIDEO: Wednesday Morning Blaze Destroys Home & Belongings

SAN ANGELO, Texas – A structure fire destroyed an outbuilding, an RV and severely damaged a home near downtown San Angelo just off the Concho River near the Oaks St. bridge Wednesday morning.

According to emergency communications, first responders were dispatched to a structure fire on Porter St. between Allen and Bird around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.  Thick black smoke could be seen billowing against the cloudy sky as firefighters arrived.

It appears a structure behind a house was completely destroyed.  See more in the video below:

The fire damaged an RV and there were a few trailers filled with personal property scattered about the scene. At least two highly flammable propane canisters had been moved to the curb away from the blaze.

Several fire trucks and at least two ambulances were on the scene along with San Angelo Police and fire investigators.  There are no reports of injuries at this time.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
